I looked them up in the watch forums and from what I read I thought I would go for it.
As for the look and feel of this watch, it has a nice weight and balance and is clean and elegant looking. A great dress watch. However, the black-on-black gives it a low profile look, so not the watch if you're looking for bling. The wrist band is made from quality calfskin, but with an alligator pattern. I think this was a poor choice. Calfskin is good quality, why cheapen it with a knockoff alligator pattern? The incremental cost of genuine alligator or crocodile would be nominal relative to the total value of this watch, and at least as a perception makes them come across as a little cheap. I'm not a big fan of this particular clasp either. With the double hinges, it's easy to doff, but not so much to don.
